Thank you for your honesty. I am currently studying to be a speech language pathologist and I appreciate all that you had to share in regard to the clinician being sympathetic and understanding your perspective. I just completed an assignment in which I had to stutter in three different public situations. The responses varied from the person being overly friendly to trying to avoid me. It would have been nice for the person to look past my stutter, but it obviously had an affect on their response. I applaud your courage and am sure your voice provides much encouragement and inspiration to others who stutter.
