Carla, thanks so much for the wonderful reply and thoughtful insights. It really makes me feel like I am on the right track when even seasoned professionals can take something from me and apply it to their work. This has been such a journey for me, that I truly feel I have to share whats worked and what hasn't. I am glad to have the opportunities I have had - to be near a college program and be able to speak to students, and participate in things like this. I am glad you are participating as actively as you are too. It shows that as a SLP, you are trying to find the right recipe for success. You may be intersted in checking out my blog - I talk about a lot of the feelings I have had, and still have, about the stutteirmng experience. You might find things that some of your clients can relate to. And I would love your feedback. (http://www.stutterrockstar.wordpress.com Again, thanks for the support and great comments.
