I really enjoyed reading your article. I am currently a graduate student in speech pathology and have not had any clinical experience with fluency therapy. You gave valuable information that I will definitely follow when I am given the opportunity to work with someone who stutters. With the information that you provided I feel much more comfortable with fluency therapy. Does it frustrate you that as graduate clinicians we have limited experience with fluency therapy? I know that you felt your therapy during school was unsuccessful. What do you think would be beneficial for SLP’s in schools to make this a more successful process?
