Hey Pam, First off I wanted to thank you for coming in and speaking to my Fluency class tonight at the College of St. Rose. I found both your presentation and this article very informing and interesting. My question regards looking back to yourself as a child. If you could, what would you tell yourself as a child that you now know, that could have helped you better deal with your stuttering. As a future clinician, I wonder which approach is the best for dealing with a child to young adult who stutters. Most often the case seems to be they do not wish to discuss or acknowledge their stuttering, which makes therapy difficult and stagnant. It has been my experience that once that initial hurdle is cleared, therapy can begin to really take affect. Thank you, Feliks
