Hi Laura, the student clinicians I have worked with for the last years have helped me to coninously accept myself as a person who stutters. Some attempted to show my fluency targets, but I honeslty wasn't ready. I sometimes feel that speech targets actually make me covert again. But now, in this third year of therapy, I am FINALLY interested in learning a tool that can help me release from a block, as I have been experiencing that more and more, and have been very uncomfortable. As I noted in an earlier reply, I am not sure I will use the technique, but I at least will know how to use it and it will be in my back pocket should I want to.
