Pam, thanks so much for your response. I neglected to state that kelvin, the 9-yr.old, is pretty accepting of his stuttering, thankfully. He's such a sharp and inteligent boy, that it pains me to see him struggle with that morass of nonsense his mom ladles on his life--i know, note entirely her fault as she has issues as well, but i can see its taking its toll on him almost daily. thankfully, again, he knows he has reliiable people at school that can listent to, as well as help him (play therapy as well). I did bring him a book from the last speech and language conference i went to, "Sometimes I Just Stutter" and we are reading and discussing it. thanks for YOUR support as well. Again, after tryng to be a "pseudo stutterer" I can still only empathise a very little bit about how difficult your road must've been. I truly appreciate the time you've taken to respond. sincerely, elsa flannery
