Thanks so much for putting into words so eloquently the covert story. I loved your analogy of being stuck between floors and feeling all alone, not fitting into either world. I still sometimes feel like this and it has really helped me to read that this was your experience also. This is especially true when I disclose my stuttering and the person says they had no idea I stutter. I also want to thank you for saying that you still hide your stuttering even when you tell people that you stutter. I am still struggling with this and I'm glad I'm not alone. I think that for covert pws, there are two parts to telling people you stutter: 1. saying that you stutter, and 2. actually stuttering audibly. Thanks for helping others like yourself on our journey.
