Hi Cathy, I just want to let you know that your story is incredible. As a Masters student in an SLP program, you have single-handedly opened my eyes and broadened my prospective within the Stuttering community, especially in regards to covert behaviors. Just by reading your story, I can tell how strong you really are. Keep it up - everyone who matters will love you for any flaw you have, fluency-related or not, and those who don't aren't worth the effort anyway!
