Karissa, thanks for your questions! I did know that I stuttered as a child and did receive some speech therapy. The subject was not discussed with any of my friends as a child so I am not sure if they knew. As I grew older, I decided to hide my stuttering and those who did find out about it, have either indicated that they always knew or that they had no idea. It really was a mixed bag. For those who did not know, it only encouraged me that I was doing a great job :-)
