Hi Cathy, Thank you for sharing your story. As a graduate student studying speech-language pathology, stuttering has become a major interest of mine both academically and personally. I am currently enrolled in a fluency course that has examined endless stories that are similar to yours. you mentioned how you weren't sure if you'd still be viewed as the same person if you were to let the "stuttering out of the bag." You also mentioned how a few friends of yours found out about your stuttering....did they still look at you the same way now that your secret was out in the open? and if they did, has that made it any easier for you to come out to any of your other friends.
