Kristina, another good question! The only time I received speech therapy was in elementary school. With that, it was the typical - practice saying words out loud, which really got me nowhere. I would recommmend treating the emotional side of it at the same time as teaching techniques. That in the end, will determine how open and accepting one is with their stuttering. As an adult, I did go once but until I am ready to openly stutter, I don't think therapy will help. Thanks for the question!
