Stephanie, I received speech therapy as a child but it was the typical practice saying words or reading out loud. That got me nowhere. When I got old enough where I did not want to go to speech class, I just started to hide. I don't know what would have happened if I kept going, but I dealt with it the best way I knew how at that age.
