Hi Cathy, Thank you for sharing your story! It is amazing to me how all of us have fears and things about our lives that we are not willing /or really scared to share with others. I think that you make a wonderful point about expressing the fact that not all PWS feel better by "announcing" that they stutter. We so often hear that one should identify themselves early on so that there won't be an issue. I have a feeling that I would be more like you, if possible, in trying to not let it be known. I also think that it is so important that you do realize that you accept yourself as is and do not let your stuttering get in the way of what you want to do. I sincerely applaud your efforts and am so happy that you are available to others who, like you, feel the need to keep some privacy about their stutter.Your words/insights give hope to many who feel as you do..whrther it be related to stuttering or another difficulty faced in life. We need to be accepting of ourselves and others, and not let our difficulties control us and keep us from being happy. And we need to find out how to do that so we can stay true to ourselves.Thank you again for speaking to us! Donna
