Pam, just a slightly different twist to the helpful comments you've already received. One view that I've found helpful, especially for blocking behaviors - no air flow, no voicing, holding your breath - is to "give yourself permission to stutter" and to experiment with different, easier ways of stuttering. Once you give yourself permission to play with your stuttering rather than trying so very much NOT to stutter, you'll have more "degrees of freedom" so that some experimentation is possible. The easier ways of stuttering that others have suggested - as long as you are becoming somewhat desensitized to stuttering - are easier for your listeners (which I'm not so concerned about) but easier for you too. Thanks for your comments.
