I understand your concern about our reference to Lidcombe - we put the word "owned" in quotes to indicate that it was not necessarily to be taken literally. In the case of Lidcombe, for the most part, "ownership" is authorship and scholarly credit - it is not quite like a vended product. Our point is that many forms of "ownership" can create an environment in which there is an impetus and desire to promote the approach to therapy, and that this is natural. In scope and in its now oft-referenced name, it stands out as different from most of its historical predecessors. Nan
