Everything is done in lab settings. I have great results with my friends in controlled speech situation, but stopping in real communication is not so easy. Stuttering is involuntary and the voluntary pausing doesn't mix very well. Is like water and oil. I have wrote something about the block and pausing speech in 2006. http://stutteringforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=764 Implementation is the break point of "pausing". Thanks for your thoughts.
