As an SLP and NLP Practitioner I practice living by statements call pre-suppositions. One of those is "Choice is better than no choice." When a PWS chooses to pause - by making that choice the PWS is taking control. I support you in your belief that this is a technique just as easy beginnings, pull-outs, etc. When we take control and own the choice we've made, we can acknoweldge ourself for the choice or choose to make a new choice in the future. Thanks for your perspective.
