Howdy, Joe! Thanks for your comments. Isn't it amazing how good it feels when we finally figure out we don't need others to validate our worth, when in fact we have complete control over that ourselves. It is strange for me to look back and figure out that this "speech thing" was suddenly a problem for me when it was for others. What I would give to be able to go back to that young age, knowing what I know now to have been so empowered, educated and encouraged to advocate -- for myself when i needed it the most.
