Ah, my good friend, Cathy! Thanks for your comments and thoughts. We do know each others' stories so very well and understand probably better than any what goes on inside of you and I. Yes, I do revert back....every day. What I figured out is that it's okay not to have to necessarily be open and honest every moment. I think there's a time to stand and be heard and there's a time to rest. It's my choice to not worry about what someone else thinks about me -- including MYSELF. When I choose to "rest" and just take whatever easy measure is at my hand to get through an annoying moment, I don't think any less of myself. Some days, we put on the tux, slick back our hair, toss on the cologne and show the world our best face. Sometimes, we leave hair uncombed, face unshaven and clothes wrinkled. Just means we're resting that day. Same with our speech. Some days, my best face. Others, I'm just resting. My choice. And, no, I never thought I'd find a time where I could be as open. But I also know I dreamed for so many years of a time when I didn't suffer so much in advance -- and actually, I don't -- finally.... Thanks, again, my friend. Enjoy the conference. Chris
