I enjoyed reading your story. It was very genuine and inspirational. I loved the line, “I no longer chased the acceptance of others, but the acceptance of myself.” I think its very important to accept yourself, and try not to worry about what others will say. One of my favorite quotes is from Dr. Seuss, “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”
