Tim, you are SO, so right...if we confront the fear, regardless of the greater pain at first, it does diminish bit by bit and we soon learn that the "beast" is not as powerful as we once feared. We'll respect it but slowly understand it's limited in its hold on us. But as you say, that hole can get deeper and deeper the more power we give to others and to fear as to how we define ourselves and our self-worth. At some point, you say, Enough! and turn and face it. But that time is different for everyone and you'll know when it's the right time -- nobody else can tell you. Thanks again! Chris
