What a great idea for practicing public speaking, whether you stutter or not. I work in a BOCES high school, and help 11th and 12th graders get ready to make the transition from school to work or college. Many of the kids don't have these speaking skills, becasue they have not had the opportunity for practice. Doing role plays like these are great. I am an adult who stutters, and sometimes I find it difficult when I stutter openly and one of my students laughs or giggles or other wise makes fun of me. So I find myseld teaching the students about stuttering and effective communciation skills over all. I bet you do, too, huh? . . . . I was really happy to see what a terrific job you did with this. Sometimes my students have to use the phone to call an employer to request doing an internship. Sometimes they don't even know how to introduce themselves. So you should be very proud that you came up with this. Its great for everybody, stutter or not. Great job!
