I found this article quite interesting and very applicable. In my current fluency course we have been discussing the need to address the whole person, not just the behavior. Your approach clearly addresses them as a whole and works to create comfort in who they are as a whole person, not just a person who stutters. This reminded my slightly of an article we read in class by Jezer, M. "The 'S' Word." which addresses the importance of the experience and the emotions that come with. One question, are the strategies you mentioned the only ones you implement or do you also use more "typical" techniques (fluency shaping, stutter modification)?
