Thank you for a wonderful summary of this book which I plan to read. For me, counseling is probably the most challenging part of therapy with a person who stutters. In general, I think that many SLPs are not adequately prepared for this particular aspect of stuttering therapy in our training programs. It appears this has not been the case for you. What other opportunities have you had in your training to learn more about counseling PWS?
