I really enjoyed reading about strategies to use with children as well as adults to make them feel empowered about their speech. The suggestion to the school aged child to give their bully a business card of yours is brilliant! I thought that was a hilarious approach to empowering a school aged child. You mentioned in the section about adults that it is most important to boost their confidence about recovery and treatment. I was wondering what you would suggest to say or do to adults that have a stutter and are questionable about treatment, however they do want to improve their speech? Are there any other suggestions for ways to encourage empowerment that can be used with adults?
