I do not know if a comment I wrote last week ever got to you....(tech prob's). Bear with me if I did. I have already handed out to others your article to support one of my major goals because it is overlooked as we attempt to alter how others speak! We must be cautious, though, with parents who redefine 'empowerment' by offering too many compensations (toys, big ticket items, etc), thinking this is empowering. Your article will be one to help them know the difference. Thank you.
