Loved the article. Teaching our clients empowerment is so important in their desire to change and beat stuttering. However, I was wondering if you've ever seen this backfire on you? For some people, perfectionism is something that can be so positive but also so negative. If you push the idea of empowerment and your client's stuttering doesn't get any better year after year what happens? Have you ever seen this? For this client would you stop the idea of empowerment and just focus on acceptance?
