I think part of the problem is that most of the "famous people who stutter" no longer stutter. They talk of having recovered, which makes it hard for PWS and the public to relate to their stuttering credibility. When I give talks about stuttering, if I feel I am being "too fluent", I throw some voluntary stuttering. That always works, becasue it always turns real. I don't think you can talk about stuttering (as a person who stutters) without stuttering. This is a very good discussion point. I have done some youtube videos to raise awareness, and have been criticized for stuttering too mildly!! Good ideas, Tim!
