In regard of your first question, I don't have a ready answer since there is no research data available and I have not been to every province of China. But from what I read in the internet and some books/articles, I believe that although some difference in degree exists, the discrimination against stutterer is ubiquitous in China. Twenty years ago, there were only a few treatment choices in mainland China, and most of the therapists lacked good training (things are still like this today). Now there are about 50 according to my estimation some time ago, including someone selling olanzapine illegally, or selling other unapproved herbal medicines.
