I have a vague memory that there are already some arguments that autism, or ADHD, has been over-diagnosed. If I had a conspiracy theory, I would believe that this is because of the pharmaceutical companies and the insurance companies that pay for the treatment of autism and ADHD, but probably not stuttering. So, money talks.
