I am a first year Speech Pathology Graduate Student from West Virginia University. I found this to be a very good article to read at this point in my career; I like how you explained the ABC’s of stuttering. I really like the concept and structure around the Intentional Speech Practice sheet. I feel that is a very effective way for the client to take part in his/her treatment which may in effect make them work even harder on those goals. I have yet to work with a stuttering client and was wondering at what point in therapy would this be applicable to use? Is this something to work on in the beginning of therapy sessions (when you first start seeing the client?) Or is there a certain point the client should reach before they can start addressing their own goals? Thank you!
