Hi Laci and Kyleigh, That's a good question. I can't say that in every case I would follow up on each statement my client makes in terms of 'what he would do next time'! I would say that they do in general terms. For me, the largest value of the charts is often that my client is discriminating his feelings and thoughts about the event and how a different thought would have affected his speech, and then of course this leads to generating an alternative way to approach the situation. To hold my client "accountable" for following through on that "specific" new way of thinking "the next time"...is difficult for many reasonas. The biggest one of which being that too most often that 'exact' experience never has a chance to be 'exactly' replicated. But what I do look for is an increased ability to independently identify and reframe negative thoughts that appear and reports that 'It's easier now"..or "that doesn't bother me as much anymore"..etc. I hope that helps. Thanks for your questions Marybeth
