Dear Allan Thanks for the brief but comprehensive sharing. What do you think of "faith" between PWS and therapist? In my experience (both as a GP who practiced once- and a PWS who once went for formal therapy), most of us have a secret desire that we should be treated more as a friend and less as a "clinical case". Unfortunately, this healing relationship is "uneven" and often under the shadow of "fee for clinical services". In India, this fee is often exorbitant in private practice. The client often ends up feeling exploited. So I think- a more ethical fee structure and treating PWS (especially adult PWS) as an equal, friend should be high on the agenda of trainee SLPs..
