Hi Russ, It’s always a pleasure to hear from you. You wrote “We can give them something they absolutely can NOT get from textbooks or lectures.” Your statement is uncannily accurate. Several years ago, a student SLP sent me an email that included the following sentence: “I learned more from you than from any book that I read, or lecture I attended”. It is so heartening to receive such responses – it makes all the travelling/effort worthwhile. You are also correct when you refer to the diverse nature of stuttering. We are all different! No wonder it is SO difficult to address. :-) Kindest regards Alan PS Have you mastered the long Welsh placename yet? It only comprises 57 letters :-) (Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch)
