I really enjoyed reading your article and found it very informative! I am currently a graduate student for SLP and I find it important to gain insight from people, such as yourself, to be able to better connect with my clients. You wrote about putting yourself out there in an effort to aid in the process of desensitization. Do you recommend any hands-on activity that the SLP could do to model putting themselves out there, in an attempt to simultaneously put their client at more ease and help them to desensitize? Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
