Hello Alan, I believe I had the pleasure of seeing you speak at the National Stuttering Association annual conference in Atlanta. Although you have racked up a great deal of frequent flier miles on this great mission, I have to say that reading your paper still thrills me as it did listening to your words. As a person who struggled with severe stuttering (moderate-to-severe) for most of my college years, it took me frustrating years of starting and stopping before I decided to make a stand. Two and a half years later, on a good day I am 70 percent fluent. What I learned more than anything, is anyone can speak. But as a person who stutters, I speak with passion. I speak with fire. And just to know those two things, has done more for me and other people who I know stutter. We all do our part to make this world a better place. Thank you for continuing to do yours!
