Hi Alan, I really enjoyed reading your story. I think it is wonderful that you have shared with so many your insight about and experience with stuttering. As a future SLP, it is always beneficial to hear from people who stutter and to realize the importance of building a positive relationship with future clients. You spoke of how changing your attitude toward stuttering really impacted you. I currently work with an adolescent who stutters, and am working toward helping her change her mindset about her stutter. Do you have any practical suggestions that you found helped you in this area?
