Hi Sachin Let me say I don't accept my stutter. I would throw it out of the window any minute. But I do accept me (after a many years' battle...). If I stutter, well, that's the way I speak. If I'm fluent, so much the better. I stutter. People know me like that. People even react when I happen to be fluent for a while! I'm in the media a lot. So when I stutter, noone lifts an eyebrow. I was looking for a job as a personal assistant. The woman I was about to help saw me and said "I want her, as I've read about her and she understands what people with disabilities are going through. I don't have to show ID as people know me. I had a plane ticket with a wrong date and I couldn't get a seat as the plane was full. I gave them my worst stutter ever... and got a seat. For free. I stutter. And that's ok. For what I have to say is worth repeating. Keep talking! Anita
