Hello Anita, After reading your paper, how I wish I had known you when I was an adolescent. The teenage years are trying in so many ways, but yet throw in stuttering, and it just hits you from all different directions. To be a role model as you are is one thing. But to be driven, compassionate, and universally dedicated as you just is mind-blowing. Ever since I met you in 2008, I keep remembering how you said to "Keep talking." Well let me tell you what-not only I have done that and now some people can't shut me up, once you accept your stuttering and the fact that it does not have to have a stranglehold on your life, nothing else matters. It really is true-the truth will set you free. On a personal note, I earned Member of the Year this past NSA conference ;) I wish you could have been there to see it. Please return very soon....because you are missed by everyone. -SK.
