Hi Lynne! Yes, the best way to reach out is to be up front and share the good AND the bad. It's a week of being crazy, dance and sing, where we as leaders are just as crazy as they are, different projects to stimulate them to take charge mizing with our experiences, and lots of talking and crying, including myself. ANd the interesting thing is: stuttering is such a small part of this all! It's all about life, experiences, growing up, dreams and hopes etc. And what unites us is our stutter. It's not all bad. :-) Happy ISAD and keep talking! Anita, Thanks for sharing the way you work with young people who stutter. I know they appreciate having you be straightforward and honest about your stuttering with them, and allowing them to do the same. What a lovely gift to share with them. And, all those perks you are discovering--wonderful! Regards, Lynne
