Young children need to combine therapy with activities that keep their enthusiasm high during the session. At this time I do not have the kind of activities that would keep them engaged for a long enough period. For children between 9-10 to 14 it depends on the individual. I do follow up online with clients as young as 9 who I know well from the clinic. Perhaps as materials are developed that help with the online interaction of clinician and young child, this barrier could be overcome.
