Barbara- Thank you so much for this article, it truly opened my eyes to all the options people with communication disorders have. It's almost kind of a relief to see such positive results from therapy online. I am a PWS and SLP, however I don't specialize in fluency professionally :) I'm a covert PWS and don't feel I have the skills to provide the therapy to other PWS at this time. I do feel that beginning to change, the more I learn about stuttering and the more open I become with it the more I'm considering being more accepting of fluency cases. I'm involved with our local SLP association and get frequent calls and emails requesting local SLP's who specialize in fluency. I have to refer to the Board Recognized Fluency Specialist that lives 3 hours away. How would one go about locating a SLP who uses telepractice online? Are you accepting new patients from the states? Thanks in advance!
