Another way that teletherapy can help individuals expand their comfort zone is the fact that with a laptop one can have therapy in any location possible. You can have therapy in the office, at home, at the public library, in a Starbucks, whatever. I have found that more than helping a PWS to "generalize" to other environments, this really helps them to objectify their stuttering. That is, to become more comfortable with the fact that they stutter but are doing what they can to address it. This is much harder to accomplish when being treated only in a treatment room.
