Barbara, rather than a referral AWAY to "others" I would like to see SLPs bringing in those "others" early on and all working together with the client in a coordinated systems approach. Reading Start-Up Nation by San Senor and Saul Singer confirms my view that the seichel (Hebrew for wisdom, smarts, common sense) and spirit of innovation exist in sufficient quantity where you are that could make that country a pioneer in such treatment delivery.
