There re some cultural differences. For instance, I believe that being open about stuttering is important, but in some cultures marriages are arranged and any difference, even stuttering in the family is a mark against the person. Even if the client is willing to advertise for himself, he doesn't agree to do this because of the eligibility of marriage for siblings. I have to respect these cultural differences. No, unfortunately, I have not come across a culture that embraces stuttering, but there are, of course, cultures that are more accepting and understanding of stuttering.
