Colleen, This is a very important question, because interaction between client and clinician makes the therapy more enjoyable for both and sometimes more successful. I've related to this a bit in my post on Personal Interaction, Oct 19. Comparing on line to in clinic is hard and from the clinician perspective I think it depends on where you are in your life. If I were just starting out, I would prefer to work in a clinic with colleagues around me to consult with. There is camaraderie in the clinic that you don't experience when you are alone all the time going from session to session. However, at this stage on my life, it suits me and my personality very well.
