Thanks for the wonderful response. I guess it's a cultural thing - my other Asian friends who have a stutter have mentioned this too - stuttering seems to be a taboo in our society. Parents try and deny it. Families do not openly discuss it. It can even be seen as a stain of some sort. But things amongst the British Indians are changing....the 2nd and 3rd generation of immigrants living here in the UK are more open to discussion, and less chained by decades of convention. I wish you the very best of luck when you too discuss your life journey with your family. It's a difficult thing to do, but it'll be one of the best things we will ever have done. A defining moment. And one that can really strengthen the love and bond. Take care. Harry. (By the way, I went to Chandhigarh once when I was a 7 years old! Amazing city.)
