Hi there! Thanks for the post. I totally agree with your main objective being 'acceptance' first. That is the key. Acceptance of our stutter, and acceptance of who we are as individuals. Swimming against the tide can be very tiring, and sometimes it's good to just go with the flow. Learning to live with this disability rather than fighting it and resenting it, makes the journey a lot easier. As you say, once we have acceptance, then we can tackle the stutter via techniques. I've personally found that pushing oursleves to achieve things in our personal and proffesional lives helps to gain greater self-acceptance. With that comes the confidence to tackle the challenges that come our way, be they speech related or otherwise. To answer your question, I lived in Punjab for 10 years (in the city of Bhatinda). I loved my childhood there. It was truely beautiful....a magical childhood. I've been back to India twice since, and have visited Mumbai, Bangalore and Indore etc. I still have relatives in Punjab, and one day, I would love to visit to my mother country again. Take care, and I wish you and TISA the very best of luck. I have a nephew working in Bangalore for the next 3 years, and if I come down, maybe we can meet up for a tea and a chat. Harry
