Thanks for your comments Karen. That is a great idea to involve young people - the challenge, as with a lot of things, is how to start the process and who does it. I wouldn't know where to begin with such a project... if you take into mind we are a national organization, you're talking about schools across Canada - thousands! But then it is possible we start in one city and go from there. As for the paid position it is a good idea too but would require a government grant and someone to pursue that. Obtaining such a grant would be a job in itself. Also the duties of the National Coordinator, and his/her responsibilities to communities across Canada, would have to be better defined. But yes, it would probably make it a more effective organization!
