Hi Lisa, yes, the school thing would be a big project. As you noted, I think that would be the way to start....to try it in one city, one school system, etc and see how it went. In terms of time to do it.....I think this is where a paid position comes in handy. I'm optimistic that a grant could be secured for this (maybe I'm niave:) My husband & I are looking into grant options (per discussion w/ Jaan Pill) at this time.....not specifically for a coordinator....just "funding options in general" and hope to submit a paper on grant options/fundraising ideas soon. My husband works delivering grant programs and has written & reviewed hundreds of proposals in his lifetime ....& he'd be happy to write proposals for any grant program that the CSA might be interested in pursuing.
